A predawn fire razed a laboratory clinic which almost trapped a family. They were rushed in a nearby hospital after suffering from mild respiratory distress. Since the fire started from the second floor, smoke readily spread which also caused the patients of the said hospital to evacuate temporarily. The blaze reached third alarm and was controlled an hour later.
